Although the Nexus LGA1366 coolers are within the Intel specs, some extra stability can be chosen.
The LGA1366 back plate can be used with all the Nexus 1366 Socket coolers available, just like the LGA775 back plate you screw this back plate on the back of your motherboard for extra stability.
Both the FLC-3000 and LOW-7000 can be mounted on your motherboard without the LGA1366 bracket. When they are mounted without they still are within the Intel specifications.
The back plate is only an extra part, for users who prefer to use a back plate
